Qualified Adaptiv Home Specialists are renovators, designers, occupational therapists, and other professionals who have the knowledge and skills required to undertake renovation projects to accommodate someone living with a disability, a progressive condition, or those looking to age in place. This includes specific building knowledge on ramps and slopes, zero-step thresholds , curbless showers, accessibility equipment, home automation solutions and much more.

They have also been trained in client communication, empathy, and privacy considerations.

NetZero Home

Net Zero Homes, whether new or renovated, produce as much clean energy as they consume. They are far more energy efficient than typical new homes and greatly reduce your impact on the environment.

Every part of the house works together to provide consistent temperatures throughout, prevent drafts, and filter indoor air to reduce dust and allergens. The result: exceptional energy performance and the ultimate in comfort – a home at the forefront of sustainability. It all adds up to a better living experience.

Built Green

BuiltGreen takes a holistic approach  which means using advanced building technologies that consider the home as a system or a sum of its parts—everything from site orientation, building materials, HVAC equipment, windows, water and electrical consumption, and builder practices.

These component parts all contribute to the way Built Green Canada teaches builders how to use the latest technologies to ensure a healthier, more durable home with a lower environmental impact, costs savings to the homebuyer and choices they can make on how to have a greener home.
