Based in Victoria BC, Grace is an Applied Science Technologist, general contractor and licensed residential builder focusing on high performance and environmentally responsible builds and renovations.

Grace has had the opportunity to learn, participate and collaborate with individuals and organizations across the architectural, engineering and consulting industry.  A recent example is the Pembina Reframed Initiative, where Grace was the construction project manager for one of the Reframed Lab teams working to transform how we retrofit multi-unit residential buildings to eliminate climate pollution, reduce energy waste, improve health and safety, and increase resilience to extreme weather events.

Grace proactively finds ways to build better, and is currently the Director of the Vancouver Island Chapter for Construction Specifications Canada (CSC).

She has been actively involved with CSC for over a decade, and was integral to the formation of the Vancouver Island Chapter as secretary/administrator, and in the intervening years has served as webmaster, trade show organizer,  and education coordinator.

Grace is also involved with national CSC committee work as a CCCA sub-committee co-chair.

Grace also serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Home Builders Association on Vancouver Island where she advocates for the continual improvement of design and construction practices in the residential sector.
